Press Policy
Employees of CIFS member companies, including any attached journalists, may
participate in CIFS membership activities, always observing the following:
- Knowledge presented in written, oral or any other form, along with any
associated debate or discussion taking place during the activities arranged
by CIFS, may be published subject to the prior approval of the researchers
in charge of the appropriate activity.
- The Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies reserves the right to
organise arrangements for which the composition of participants is
determined by CIFS or by CIFS in collaboration with some of its members.
Use of CIFS written papers is permitted, always observing the following:
- Citations of a published work are allowed in accordance with good practice
and to the extent required by the purpose (Danish Copyright Act, Section
22).
- A literary work must not be made available to the public under a title, a
pseudonym or a label that will lead to confusion with a previously published
work or its author (Danish Copyright Act, Section 73).
Any use of material from the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Research shall
be subject to
the Danish Copyright Act
(Consolidated Act no. 194 of 11 March 1997 as amended by Act no. 407 of 26
June 1998).

Founded in 1970 by Professor Thorkil Kristensen, former Minister of Finance and Secretary-General of the OECD.
